Adam Copeland made his AEW debut at WrestleDream 2023 followed by successive appearances on Dynamite and Collision this past week.

Copeland’s first rival in AEW is none other than Christian Cage and his henchmen, Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne. However, it’s obvious that Copeland and Cage will come together as a tag team at some point down the road.

On a recent edition of his “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy” podcast, Matt Hardy noted that fans would eventually witness a match between The Hardys and Copeland & Cage in AEW.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On a tag match between the four men: “We’re a long way away. You have to remember Edge is such a huge deal on his own. I still think that Adam Copeland and Christian Cage still have a lot of stuff to do on their own.”

On the potential for such a match: “We’re not going to do the 1999 No Mercy ladder match whenever we do have this match. I think we can still have a great match. We can still go out. We can have a killer match. It can be super entertaining and it’s going to be fun,” he said. “I think we can still do it on a level high enough.”

On the inevitable match being a potential retirement bout for him: “Those are the two guys I would love to have my last match with because we started with them, and I could see it ending with them. It’s an overwhelming thing, and it’s a big deal, and it would be a great way to go out.”

On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Max Caster discussed his chemistry with Anthony Bowens and shared advice for young talents. He said,

“A little bit. I wish more guys would ask, but the secret is you have to work together as business partners and become friends and then just do whatever you want. There are going to be a lot of people that tell you not to do things. For example, they told us not to do the scissoring. Eventually, we said, ‘that’s dumb. What else are we going to do?’ Once it resonated with people, we said, ‘See, look at that.’ A lot of people try to tell me what not to say in the entrances. ‘I think it’s funny, let me try it.’ They’ll bleep it or whatever, but in the moment, it works.”

Billie Starkz defeated Rachel Armstrong, Trish Adora, and Marina Shafir to win the Wrestling Revolver Women’s Grand Prix on Sunday.

The AEW star took to Twitter/X to address her victory, writing,

“What I learned today.

1. @Armstrong18Rach is the next one up. Show the world.

2. @TrishAdora202 has leveled up and may be the best technical wrestler in the states.

3. @MarinaShafir can be beat, but she will try and tear every limb off before that 3 count.
