During AEW Dynasty 2025, Adam Cole arrived on the scene for his bout against Daniel Garcia, head-to-toe in gear inspired by The Witcher video games.
In a subsequent visit to “All Elite Arcade,” Cole voiced his excitement about his visually intriguing attire.
The holder of the TNT Championship then shared, “Everyone who knows me is well aware that my two great loves in life are professional wrestling and video games. As you, Uno, mentioned, be it in my wrestling journey or on my Twitch channel as “the Chugs”, I usually keep these interests separate. But, there are instances where they do intersect and you can hear me discussing both.
Recently, I decided to manifest my love for video games in a unique way, especially for significant matches. In my debut challenge for the AEW World Championship, my main-event attire was designed after the character Master Chief from the Halo franchise. When I challenged next for the World Championship at All In, I chose gear influenced by Handsome Jack. Fast forward to my 17-year wrestling anniversary, where I secured the TNT Championship in Philadelphia, I decided to don Geralt-inspired gear from The Witcher 3. Needless to say, I was ecstatic with the end product and could not wait to show it off.
On a night as monumental as that, it was simply my humble way of paying a tribute to, not just one of my favorite, but arguably one of the greatest video games ever created.”
In a recent chat on the “McGuire on Wrestling” podcast, the veteran wrestler MVP looked back fondly on his two-decade-long wrestling career.
He mentioned that his managerial role on-screen would contribute toward the extension of his career once his association with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin concludes.
MVP gladly reflected, “From the moment I put pen to paper on a WWE contract in 2005, I have not sought employment outside of this industry. I grasp the magnitude of the privilege that I have been granted, and it’s heartening to know that there’s no cap on what’s to come.
When I retire from active wrestling, I know I have this managerial role to fall back on, though it wasn’t part of the original plan. It just transpired organically, and it’s interesting to see myself embark on this new journey as a manager. Once my wrestling career ends and when Bobby and Shelton hang their boots, the Hurt Syndicate will cease to exist. But I could potentially still be around to ease the transition for young talent, guide their way, and help them escalate. The prospect of continuing this for another decade or a little more doesn’t seem unrealistic.”
