Tonight’s episode of NXT saw Adam Cole and Velveteen Dream rekindle their long-running feud in a main event that saw both superstars go at it in a big way. After returning to the ring, Dream was unable to take down Cole, and lost in a tough match.
Late in the match, Cole and Dream were going back and forth when Cole locked Dream into the Figure-Four. After getting back up, Cole nearly delivered a brutal superkick to the referee, which led to Dream hitting Cole with the DreamDT. Dream then climbed to the top rope and hit Cole with the Purple Rainmaker, but Cole kicked out, and ended things with the Last Shot for the victory.
