On the “Q101” podcast, professional wrestler Adam Cole recently recounted a humorous incident from his teenage years when he purportedly turned down a chance to make out with a girl so he could watch a WWE match featuring Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton.
Some highlights from the podcast include his recollection of the incident and his explanation for why he passed on the opportunity with the girl:
Adam Cole emphasized his enthusiasm for the match, noting that he had been at the live event. His desire to re-watch the match on DVD was so compelling that he turned down the girl’s advances.
He stated, “I was at this show. I had already seen the match, but I wanted to watch it again on DVD. And she was trying to kiss me, and I said, ‘Hey, listen, not right now. I gotta watch Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton.’ I was dedicated.”
During an episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry also shed light on some notorious jokes played against him throughout his distinguished career.
Among the highlights of that conversation, Henry talked about someone supergluing his shower shoes to the floor, making it an ordeal to remove them. He was also left flustered when his crutches went missing during a show, leading him to either find a way to the bathroom unaided or risk using a garbage can as an alternative.
