“My entry point was Milwaukee, not Chicago, and I stayed in a hotel located approximately an hour and a half from the event site. I was transported to the show while it was already underway, myself and Bryan Danielson were secluded in a trailer outside the main building to maintain the surprise as very few individuals, including the talent, had an idea of our whereabouts.”
He added, “I was becoming anxious when Kenny Omega was addressing the crowd and no one had yet to collect me. I was beginning to think, ‘Did they overlook me? What’s happening?’ Eventually I was escorted to the platform. The experience of standing before the AEW audience for the first time was unbelievably thrilling and will remain one of the significant highlights of my career.”
Zilla Fatu teases lofty aspirations for 2025.
In a recent interview on the “Wrestle Era” podcast, Umaga’s son revealed his ambitions for the forthcoming year, stating,
“Expect more accomplishments in 2025. My brand will expand, influence will grow on platforms like YouTube. My team will be more prepared and experienced, and our reach will be wider with increased collaborations. There is no doubt that I aim to garner more victories. I’m also working to end my parole tenure quicker. All my efforts are focused on maintaining a clean slate, and I anticipate getting the judge’s approval for ending the probation soon. Once that happens, I can travel outside country borders and achieve greater victories. Hence, no rush.”
Fatu reiterated on his goals, “My current focus is on completing my probation, keeping away from trouble, finishing my mandated classes, paying the required fees timely. Looking at 2025, definite growth and success is projected. The blessings I am meant to receive will find their way in due course. God has paved this path for me, my job is to work diligently, stay grounded and maintain integrity even when no one’s watching. I am destined for greatness. My focus is on taking one step at a time, laying brick by brick, that’s the plan. Trusting the process and my team is integral at this point.”
