The Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal event has seen its fair share of variations over the years, which continues with the 2024 edition. We now have a clear picture of the process to determine who will claim the Dynamite Diamond Ring and the contenders in the running for it.
During last night’s AEW Dynamite episode, the battle royal involved several competitors including Action Andretti, Adam Cole, Brian Cage, The Butcher, Dante Martin, Darius Martin, Evil Uno, Kyle O’Reilly, Lance Archer, Lio Rush, Mark Davis, and Rocky Romero. As might have been expected, the final two contestants were Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly.
AEW has decided to add an extra round to this event. Instead of having one winner to match against MJF directly, AEW has set up Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly for a face-off next week on the Winter is Coming episode of Dynamite. The victor in that game will then contend against Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) for the much-coveted Dynamite Diamond Ring at AEW Worlds End on December 28th.
Below are some highlights from the match:
