Adam Cole is pumped to step back into the ring with Ricochet, after their previous showdown in WWE years ago. Now both players are part of the AEW team.
In a fresh interview with “3NT Wrestling”, Cole was queried about the possibility of a face-off with Ricochet in an AEW setup, a prospect that the previous NXT Champion is absolutely thrilled about. He expressed,
“I would love it! Ricochet is one of my favorite opponents. He’s a superhero. He’s just unbelievable; the things that he can do. So I’m so excited that he’s here in AEW, and I don’t see any reason why at some point down the line, we can’t do Adam Cole versus Ricochet two in AEW now. I hope so. Me too, me too.”
The past has seen Cole and Ricochet in numerous battles during their WWE NXT phase, including competing for the North American Title at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4.
Cole made his transition to AEW in 2021, right after his WWE contract came to an end. He went on to secure a victory at the first-ever Owen Hart Men’s Tournament in 2022.
Ricochet made his entrance into AEW during the All In: London event held earlier this year. Since then, he has been involved in feuds with Will Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita for the International Title.
