In a fresh video clip from NJPW, previous titleholders of the IWGP and AEW Tag Team, The Young Bucks, indicated their aspiration to contest for the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles in the impending Wrestle Dynasty event.
The footage disclosed that the co-executive vice presidents of AEW are presently engaged in work from their residences post their defeat for the AEW World Tag Team Titles last month on AEW Dynamite against Private Party.
The current holders of the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships are The United Empire’s Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan, who are expected to put their title on the line against the victors of the 2024 World Tag League at Wrestle Kingdom 19 on January 4.
As a result, The Young Bucks are anticipated to challenge the winners of the said match.
Wrestle Dynasty has been marked on the calendar for Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the infamous Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. The event will showcase a joint promotional endeavour, boasting talents from NJPW, AEW, ROH, CMLL, and STARDOM.
