Kelani Jordan has etched her name in the annals of WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion as the inaugural title holder, a feat that means more to her than words can describe. Owning this remarkable achievement has spirited immense pride in the young prodigy.
She secured her title in a breathtaking six-woman ladder match at WWE NXT: Battleground, where she triumphed over formidable contenders such as Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Michin, Fallon Henley, and Jaida Parker.
Speaking on the notable “Busted Open Radio” program, Jordan expressed her exhilaration about her groundbreaking venture into wresting heraldry. She remarked, “It means everything. I think words don’t, can’t fully describe it. It’s kind of…still feels like a dream to me, because in my past in gymnastics, I’ve won championships, but I’ve never been the first. And this is something that no one can take away from me. And I get to create the importance of the first-ever title. And that speaks for itself.”
The reigning champion has already displayed her mettle by defending her title on NXT TV against Michin, while also going head-to-head with Izzi Dame at a live event, and squaring off against Sol Ruca at NXT: Heatwave.
Jordan has also divulged her aspirations for the time when she ascends to the main roster, sharing some of her dream match-ups. You can glean more about her thoughts in the attached link.
