Ace Steel, a central figure in Total Nonstop Action (TNA), is keeping the possibility open for CM Punk to appear in the promotion, a potential outcome of TNA’s continuous collaborative relationship with WWE.
In a recent interaction with “Lucha Libre Online,” Steel commented on the chance of Punk, famously known as the Best in the World, making a surprise appearance in TNA.
He stated, “Professional wrestling is full of surprises. There have been multiple reports of Punk being spotted backstage at TNA events, simply mingling with the talent. There is never a guarantee in this business. I can’t confirm, but dismissing the possibility doesn’t seem wise either. After all, no one predicted his WWE comeback and yet, here he is – thoroughly enjoying every moment.”
During his initial suspension from AEW, Punk was reportedly well-received and deemed accessible by the TNA team.
Steel, apart from serving as a TNA Wrestling producer, recently took part in his first professional match in two decades at a TNA event.
The collaboration between WWE and TNA has led to appearances by wrestlers such as Jordynne Grace, Frankie Kazarian, and Joe Hendry in WWE NXT, whereas Tatum Paxley was seen at the TNA Against All Odds 2024 event.
