Speaking with Sportskeeda, Austin discusses his fast rise to the top in such a short amount of time.
“I didn’t work so hard from the time that I was so young to not be where I’m at right now. This was always the goal, and how fast I got here was nothing but a testament to my work ethic, my raw talent, the raw potential that I possess, so I can’t say that I’m surprised. This is where I’m supposed to be. That’s why I’ve been using the hashtag ‘#Inevitable’ a lot lately. I think I’d like to add that to my moniker, I am ‘The Inevitable’ Ace Austin,” said Ace.
The match at IMPACT Slammiversary was initially slated to be a 5-way match also featuring then Champion, Tessa Blanchard, and Michael Elgin. However, since the match was announced, both stars were removed from future programming.
