On a recent episode of his podcast “What Happened When”, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone highly praised the storyline between wrestlers Toni Storm and Mariah May, labelling it as one of the best AEW has ever had. He mentioned,
“I was once told by a past employer in my wrestling journey, he said, ‘There’s no such thing as bad ideas. Let’s give it a shot.’ You have to come up with something, right? That’s how they concocted the Toni Storm and Mariah May angle. People had to brainstorm, and obviously RJ City played a big role in that. He’s a very talented kid, I have a lot of respect for him, and in my opinion, the Toni Storm/Mariah May scenario is one of the best storylines we’ve ever executed in AEW.”
