Leyla Hirsch made her comeback on Thursday’s ROH TV episode after recovering from an injury she sustained in July 2024 at ROH Death Before Dishonor during a Texas Death Match against Diamante. Her injury was a dislocated shoulder, which had kept her off the scene until her recent return.
During the segment, Hirsch made a proclamation saying, “Everything is good” indicating her recovery. Her statement didn’t just stop there; she expressed her determination to regain her momentum and vowed to clinch a championship title in Ring Of Honor.
In addition to Hirsch’s return, the episode of ROH TV also witnessed Athena being honored with a new ROH Women’s World Championship title. However, her moment of glory was tarnished by Abadon.
In one of the highlights of the episode, Athena was unveiled with a new “spinner” championship belt, courtesy of Lexy Nair. But the moment was tense as an evidently disgruntled Athena blamed Billie Starkz for ruining her celebration out of jealousy. Starkz, visibly irritated, opted to leave the scene, leading to a shocking revelation where Abadon was seen replacing Lexy Nair.
Adding to the upheaval, Abadon launched an attack on Athena and pushed her into the cake that was part of the celebration. The shocking incident can be seen below:
