In the wake of their escalating dispute at the recent Money in the Bank pay-per-view event, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre are set to face repercussions.
During the event held in Toronto, Ontario, McIntyre clinched the Money in the Bank briefcase. However, his later attempts to cash it in were foiled by Punk.
The post-show presented an irate McIntyre venting his displeasure against Punk and in the process elbowing Adam Pearce. This riled up the RAW General Manager.
Following the incident, Pearce took to social media to express his regret over the incident, promising that a resolution is imminent.
Pearce’s Twitter post read, “Last night in Toronto was emotionally charged in so many ways. Good and bad. Understatement. I personally apologize for the interruption to the post show and my anger. Poor Jackie feared for her life. Understatement. Decisions to be made regarding McIntyre/Punk. Understatement.- Adam Pearce (@ScrapDaddyAP) July 7, 2024”
