The official representative for Janel Grant has confirmed that the team from Netflix’s “Mr. McMahon” documentary series made contact for a prospective interview.
Debuting on September 25th, the “Mr. McMahon” documentary series will delve into the rise and downfall of former WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon.
An earlier statement declared that Grant was not interviewed for the series. However, a clarification from her representative states,
“Netflix’s documentary team initially contacted Janel’s management for an interview regarding this project. In spite of this, no interview took place.”
Subsequent reports from Brandon Thurston and POST Wrestling verify that Grant was asked multiple times to contribute to the series, but decided against it.
While there’s been speculation around WWE’s involvement in the series, we can confirm here at eWn that WWE has no participation in the series’ production.
In other news, WWE Monday Night RAW will transition to the Netflix platform in 2025.
