AJ Francis expressed his doubts about the likelihood of a lucrative “money match” pitting him against Swerve Strickland ever taking place.
For those unaware, Francis, also known as Top Dolla in WWE, and Strickland once shared the spotlight as members of the Hit Row faction. As of now, Strickland is part of the AEW roster, while Francis has found a home in TNA Wrestling.
During an appearance on the “Straight Talk Wrestling” podcast, the host broached the topic of a possible showdown between the two. To this, Francis remarked,
“A match with me taking on Swerve could rake in substantial revenue. The promotional clips alone, the history, but I am skeptical about it ever occurring, to my dismay. There myriad reasons for my pessimism, primarily due to my contentment with my tenure in TNA.”
Francis added, “I strongly believe that… I was once in a romantic partnership with a woman who failed to appreciate me, painted an inaccurate picture of me to the world. Today, I am in a relationship with a woman who worships me, treats me properly and communicates my greatness to the world. My current relationship mirrors my association with TNA, leading to my satisfaction with my existing situation.”
