After making his first appearance last week on NXT where he blindsided Trick Williams and confessed to the assaults on Noam Dar and Oro Mensah, Ethan Page dedicated the June 4, 2024 episode of NXT to taunting Ava about his unsigned contract.
The crescendo of these instances occurred during an in-ring contractual discussion where Ava and Robert Stone expressed their frustrations about the havoc Page has been causing.
During this segment, Page made it clear that his requirements needed to be satisfied and that he would be taking charge, disregarding Ava’s opinions.
Trick Williams, current NXT champion, intervened to throw some jabs at Page. Williams expressed his desire for Page to formalize his contract so that he, along with everyone else, could achieve their collective goal: seeing Williams defeat Page and acquire some retribution.
Page then shocked everyone by stating that his contractual stipulations include a shot at the NXT Championship in the upcoming NXT Battleground against Williams. Despite this, Trick held an air of confidence about the outcome and showed no signs of retreat.
Once Ava put her signature on the contract, it was solidified: Ethan Page was granted an NXT Championship opportunity against Trick Williams at NXT Battleground, which will take place this Sunday at UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
