A Bloodied Cody Rhodes Wins Steel Cage Match Against Wardlow

Rhodes quickly got bloodied up by Wardlow and wore a crimson mask for the rest of the bout. Despite a quick start, there was no quit in the AEW Executive Vice President. During the match, MJF tried to play mind games with Rhodes’ coach, Arn Anderson, by trying to convince him to hit Rhodes with the steel door. However, Anderson jammed it on MJF instead.

MJF handed Wardlow his Dynamite diamond ring to give the big man an advantage but Rhodes evened things up with a low blow. Cody then hit a Cross Rhodes for a two count. This led Rhodes to climb the cage and come off the top with a moonsault. That was enough for Rhodes to win the match.
