Major League Wrestling (MLW) announcer, Christian Cole, declared his release from the organization via a tweet on Monday. He expressed gratitude for the experience and mentioned Joe Dombrowski for his professional partnership.
Cole tweeted, “As of today I’ve been released from my MLW contract and am now able to seek opportunities elsewhere. I’m proud of the work we did together and excited for the direction of the company. Thanks to all who supported me, and especially Joe Dombrowski for his partnership and professionalism.”
In other MLW news, Paul London is set to make an appearance at MLW Battle Riot VII, scheduled for April 5th.
MLW made the official declaration saying, “MLW today announced Paul London has entered the 40-wrestler Battle Riot match at MLW Battle Riot VII on Saturday, April 5th at Commerce Casino & Hotel in Los Angeles, CA and presented live on YouTube.”
The announcement further revealed that Paul London, also known as “the Intrepid Traveler”, will engage in his first-ever Battle RIOT with the goal of winning a World Heavyweight Championship. Having returned to MLW in August, London’s journey has been filled with friendships, rivalities and memorable moments.
He now faces the challenging task of taking on 39 participants in one match, with the victor realising the dream of becoming a World Heavyweight Champion. London’s unique stylistic approach poses a significant threat in a match like Battle RIOT, and his speed, inventiveness, and experience may be key factors in his potential success.
