Insights on the Bloodline’s future from Bully Ray and Mark Henry, a match between Cody Rhodes and The Rock, and Tama Tonga’s involvement

On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famers Mark Henry and Bully Ray discussed the future of The Rock, Roman Reigns, and The Bloodline following the events of WrestleMania 40.

On the post-WrestleMania 40 edition of RAW, The Rock teased that his next target would be Cody Rhodes and the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.

On last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Solo Sikoa attacked Jimmy Uso as punishment for his loss to Jey Uso at WrestleMania 40. Tama Tonga joined The Bloodline and assisted Solo in decimating Jimmy.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

Mark Henry predicts when The Rock vs. Cody Rhodes will happen: “I will put a year timeline on The Rock and Cody [match]. The Rock probably won’t be back before WrestleMania next year.”

Mark Henry on Roman Reigns taking a break from TV: “But, Roman, he deserves a six-month break. They need to go through the next six-month story arc of The Bloodline building itself like the nWo did. They brought in so many members and everybody didn’t stick. There are so many things that they can do that I feel like would be great options.”

Bully Ray on who WWE will bring in for The Bloodline: “They are going to plug people in that are going to add to the story, and not water down the story. Characters that can pick a side — ‘I’m with The Rock for this reason, I’m with Roman for this reason’ because it would be a waste to not split The Bloodline up right now. That story is right there — Rock’s version of The Bloodline, Roman’s version of The Bloodline. When you tell this story the right way, you’ll eventually get to something big. And what do you think they’ll try to get to? They’ll try to get to Survivor Series and we might have a Bloodline-esque WarGames match.”

Bully Ray on Solo Sikoa: “Obviously, he had his match with Cena, but he’s getting a great education into what it’s like to be in a main event spot, without having to be the actual main-eventer. Now they’re going to start to peel back the layers on Solo Sikoa. Now we’re going to start to learn who Solo Sikoa is a little more. Why Solo thinks the way he does … We know exactly who Solo is, now we’re going to learn what makes Solo tick.”

Mark Henry on the direction of The Bloodline: “And then Paul gains control again, because there are more people in the Samoan Dynasty and in the Bloodline that could come in and possibly be like, ‘You know what, I think this is a better option,’ and Paul has always kept a feather in the cap, so I’d love to see what that story’s going to be like.”

Bully Ray on Tonga debuting in WWE: “Very proud of Tama Tonga and his finally debuting in the WWE. I want to talk about how the segment went off the air. I don’t know if I needed to know who Tama Tonga was the minute he jumped the rail and hit the ring. Like, I found it just a little bit odd that Wade Barrett and Corey Graves knew immediately ‘That’s Tama Tonga, son of Haku.’”

Bully Ray on the differences between Tongans and Samoans: “Haku is Tongan. The Bloodline are Samoan. Different, considerably different, but amongst the Samoan Family and the Tongan Family, very much the same because the Tongan families and Samoan families have crossed over a lot.”

The Future of The Rock, Roman Reigns, and The Bloodline: Insights from WWE Hall of Famers

Following the events of WrestleMania 40, the future of The Rock, Roman Reigns, and The Bloodline has become a topic of discussion among wrestling fans. Recently, WWE Hall of Famers Mark Henry and Bully Ray shared their insights on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, shedding light on what may lie ahead for these iconic figures in the wrestling world.

During the post-WrestleMania 40 edition of RAW, The Rock hinted at his next target being Cody Rhodes and the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. This revelation has sparked speculation about a potential match between these two wrestling powerhouses. Mark Henry weighed in on this possibility, predicting that The Rock’s return to the ring may not happen before WrestleMania next year.

In terms of Roman Reigns, Mark Henry expressed his belief that the wrestler deserves a well-deserved break from TV. He suggested that Reigns take a six-month hiatus to allow for the development of The Bloodline storyline, drawing parallels to the nWo’s story arc. Henry believes that bringing in new members and exploring different storylines within The Bloodline could create exciting opportunities for Reigns and his faction.

Bully Ray also shared his thoughts on the direction of The Bloodline. He proposed that WWE would introduce new characters who would add depth to the storyline without diluting its impact. Ray emphasized the potential for a split within The Bloodline, with The Rock leading his own version of the faction while Reigns continues with his own. This could potentially lead to a thrilling Bloodline-esque WarGames match at Survivor Series.

The recent attack on Jimmy Uso by Solo Sikoa on WWE SmackDown has raised questions about the future of The Bloodline. Bully Ray noted that this incident serves as an opportunity to delve deeper into Solo Sikoa’s character and motivations. He suggested that fans will soon learn more about Solo Sikoa and what drives him, adding layers to his persona.

Mark Henry also speculated on the future of The Bloodline, suggesting that Paul Heyman could regain control as more members of the Samoan Dynasty and The Bloodline join the faction. Henry believes that this development could lead to an intriguing storyline, as Paul Heyman has always been a master strategist.

Bully Ray further commented on the debut of Tama Tonga in WWE. He expressed pride in Tonga’s long-awaited debut but questioned the way it was presented. Ray found it odd that commentators Wade Barrett and Corey Graves immediately recognized Tama Tonga as the son of Haku when he jumped the rail and entered the ring. However, he acknowledged the close ties between Tongan and Samoan families within the wrestling world.

In conclusion, the future of The Rock, Roman Reigns, and The Bloodline holds immense potential for exciting storylines and matches in the world of professional wrestling. Insights from Mark Henry and Bully Ray provide fans with a glimpse into what may lie ahead for these iconic figures, leaving them eagerly anticipating the next chapters in their respective journeys.
