WWE King & Queen of the Ring will take place next month in Saudi Arabia after plans were nixed for the tournament-based event last year.
On a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that the event will take place on May 25 but did not confirm where in Saudi Arabia it’ll happen.
WWE had intended to host King & Queen of the Ring in 2023 but the show was later changed to Night of Champions.
That show marked day 1,000 of Roman Reigns’ run as Universal Champion and also saw Seth Rollins become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
WWE’s most recent tournaments saw Xavier Woods crowned King of the Ring and Zelina Vega win the Queen’s Crown Tournament in 2021.
