The Rock Declines to Endorse Joe Biden or Donald Trump for President in 2020

While The Rock endorsed Joe Biden for President back in 2020, he’s not interested in endorsing anyone this time around, including Donald Trump.

Speaking on a recent edition of “The Will Cain Show,” The Rock said,

“Am I happy with the state of America right now? Well, that answer is no. The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was one I thought was the best decision for me at that time … Am I going to do that again this year? That answer is no. I do trust the American people and I trust that whoever they vote for, that’s going to be my President. That’s who I’m going to support 100%.”

When asked if he would run for President at some point, he stated, “As of now, no. That’s not my intention. I’m not a politician, I’m not into politics. Right now, my desire and my priorities are my babies and school drop-offs and pick-ups and things like that. That’s important to me.“

The Rock and Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event of WrestleMania 40 (Night One).

In a recent interview on “The Will Cain Show,” former professional wrestler and Hollywood actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made it clear that he will not be endorsing any candidate for the upcoming presidential election, including Donald Trump. While The Rock had previously endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 election, he stated that he is not interested in making any endorsements this time around.

When asked about his thoughts on the current state of America, The Rock expressed his dissatisfaction, saying, “Am I happy with the state of America right now? Well, that answer is no.” He went on to explain that his previous endorsement of Biden was based on what he believed was the best decision for him at that time. However, he clarified that he will not be making a similar endorsement this year. Instead, he trusts the American people to make their own choices, and whoever they vote for will be his President, whom he will support wholeheartedly.

The interviewer also inquired about The Rock’s potential interest in running for President himself. The actor responded by saying, “As of now, no. That’s not my intention. I’m not a politician, I’m not into politics.” He emphasized that his current priorities lie in taking care of his family and being present for his children’s school activities.

While The Rock’s political aspirations may be on hold for now, his recent appearance at WrestleMania 40 (Night One) garnered significant attention. Teaming up with fellow wrestler Roman Reigns, The Rock defeated Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event of the highly anticipated wrestling extravaganza.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has become one of the most recognizable figures in both the entertainment industry and popular culture. From his successful wrestling career in the WWE to his transition into Hollywood, he has amassed a massive fan base worldwide. Known for his charisma and larger-than-life personality, The Rock’s opinions and actions often carry weight and influence.

While his decision not to endorse any candidate may disappoint some fans who were hoping for his support, The Rock’s stance reflects his belief in the power of individual choice and the importance of trusting the democratic process. Regardless of political affiliations, it is clear that The Rock’s priority lies in his family and personal life at this moment.

As the presidential election approaches, it will be interesting to see how other celebrities and public figures navigate their roles in endorsing or supporting candidates. The Rock’s decision to remain neutral serves as a reminder that everyone has the right to their own political beliefs and that it is ultimately up to the American people to decide the future of their country.
