Ken Shamrock was pleased that he got the chance to work with The Rock during his WWE run and has praised the Brahma Bull as a “tremendous” individual.
The two locked horns at WrestleMania 14 for Rock’s Intercontinental title and while Ken won the match, his post-match assault on officials led to the result being reversed.

“The Rock was a tremendous individual [to work with. Not only in the ring was he just unbelievable, but outside the ring man he’s a good guy and just somebody that you know you could talk to and that, if he tells you something, he’s going to do it. So I built a great relationship with him as were doing–working through our program.”
Shamrock would win the title officially from The Rock later that same year and would go on to win the 1998 King of The Ring. The Rock would end the year as WWF Champion.
