On a recent edition of the “Gorilla Position” podcast, WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley lavished praise on her Judgement Day stablemate Dominik Mysterio.
Ripley and Dominik have been working together on WWE TV since 2022. Mami said,
“I feel like he’s a fairly open book, to be completely honest. Something that you guys don’t know? I guess, most of the time, he doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing, but I feel like most people can pick up on that. I don’t know, Dom’s really funny. I feel like people know the main things about Dom. He loves chicken tenders. He has to have ranch, can’t have ketchup, can’t have mayo, it has to be ranch. He’s got the diet of a child. It’s fantastic. That’s the main thing, but I feel like a lot of people know that already. Other than that, he’s grown so much over the past year, year and a half, that it’s been really wonderful to watch and wonderful to be a part of. I’m so incredibly proud of him. The one thing that makes me laugh about him is, he’s so chill. He’s so extremely chill. So when he goes out there, most of the time, he’s just not entirely sure what is going on, but I feel like that makes it so perfect because he’s just organically reacting to things and doing things. He genuinely doesn’t know what is happening. Bless his heart. I really do love Dom.”
On a recent edition of the “Gorilla Position” podcast, former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal discussed how WWE has changed over the years with fans currently having more say in the product than they used to.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On having more creative freedom: “Those two promos that I had, one with The Rock and one with Seth Rollins, a lot of that was what I kind of wanted to say and I was giving the freedom of some level which was awesome. You’ve got to trust the performers. We are each individual we bring different things, and let everybody shine, right? It’s an exciting time for WWE, it’s an exciting time to be a WWE performer.”
On fans having more say: “I really believe the WWE Universe, our fans, are going to dictate what happens a lot more on our show now. In the past sometimes when WWE was stuck in its ways, this is the direction we are going no matter, however, the crowd is going to react, they’re going to react.”
