Ace Austin Retains X-Division Championship At IMPACT Motown Showdown

At IMPACT Wrestling Motown Showdown, IMPACT X-Division Champion Ace Austin defended his title against Dez of the Rascalz. Dez and Austin both displayed their fast-paced offensive styles. At one point, Austin took control after a cartwheel and a stiff superkick. The challenger persevered and pushed the champion to his limit. Dez got a near fall after a tiger feint kick but Austin dropped him with another kick to the head. Despite a valiant effort from Dez, Austin won the match and retained his championship after he hit the Fold.

Desi Hit Squad Upsets The Rascalz At IMPACT Motown Showdown

At IMPACT Wrestling Motown Showdown, Trey & Wentz of the Rascalz faced Mahabali Shera & Rohit Raju of the Desi Hit Squad. Raju & Shera took control and isolated Wentz for a few minutes. Shera used Raju as a weapon by slamming him into Wentz. A back handspring knee rocked Raju and Wentz tagged Trey, who electrified the crowd with his quick offense. Shera slammed Trey into the ring post but the Rascalz ganged up on the big man. Shera pinned Wentz after a thunderous slam.
