Cody’s Mystery Partner Revealed For Dynamite Tag Encounter With The Butcher And The Blade

All Elite Wrestling has revealed that MJF handpicked AEW Associate Producer and part-time wrestler QT Marshall to back up Cody against his hired goons, The Butcher and The Blade, on this coming week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. This will be Butcher and Blade’s first full match in AEW.
.@realmmarshall1 has been hand-picked by MJF to tag with @CodyRhodes as they face the match debuting team of The Butcher & the Blade in Garland, TX next week!

Cody responded to the choice, saying that he’d prefer an active member of the roster while trying to keep things civil with QT. However, he also states that he’d rather wrestle alongside his dog Pharaoh, so I’m not sure how much he achieved that goal.
I like QT Marshall a lot, I do. He’s pretty essential to things bts as well…
BUT I feel like any actual roster wrestler would have been a better choice here…
