Joey Janela may be a wild card, but he knows how to keep his hand close.

Janela just recently filed for trademark for his well-known moniker of “The Bad Boy” for pro wrestling services and merchandise. Janela used the firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, the very same law firm that many other wrestling talents have used for the same reason, including Shawn Spears, Charlotte Flair, Luchasaurus and Arn Anderson.

Janela took to Twitter to joke about the matter implying Rusev and Lana’s recent use of the nickname on RAW may have sparked Joey to take action.

You gotta do what, you gotta do 🤷🏻‍♂️ Sorry @RusevBUL https://t.co/HZ61uEa4Hv
