Sitting down with CombicBook.com for a lengthy interview, Lana talks about her movie aspirations while trying to keep her WWE character’s story alive. One movie role she’s particularly interested in is Sonya Blade in the new Mortal Kombat. “I felt like there’s a lot of elements of Sonya Blade that I could relate to.” She reveals that she played Midway’s fighting franchise as a kid and relishes the opportunity. “I mean, I feel like I look the part. It’s that type of thing that’s a dream role to do. To be a part of that type of franchise and to kick ass on screen.”
Transitioning back to WWE, Lana talked about the death threats she and Bobby have received because of her current storyline with Rusev. She admits that she’s been contacted multiple times by WWE officials and the FBI, and it really gave her some perspective. “I mean, people are mean, mean, mean. They’re bullies. Today, I open my email account and I had this death threat on my email and you know, you can go see it on into my Instagram story, but it was just like the names that people call are just absolutely appalling.”
Lana continued by reflecting on why people bully others of all stripes, saying that she’s strong enough to handle it, but others aren’t.
This is the thing. Life is difficult, life is hard, life is not a walk in the park. It’s like the tide, sometimes it’s gonna be great and then it’s gonna be cold back and you know that’s life. I hate to say it but at the end of this life we die, we get older. That’s just how it goes, so how can we live our best life in this world that is broken and not perfect and I can tell you one way to live it is not judging and being so mean to people that you don’t support. You see this in religion you see this in politics, it’s just you know, you see this in just in general and people don’t support your life that people are so mean.
