Newly Released Statistics for the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble Matches

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has shared the updated all-time statistics following the 2024 Royal Rumble matches including notes about Superstars who lasted the longest.

* Jey Uso had the most time in the 2024 men’s Rumble with 50:55. This is the 19th longest time in Rumble match history.

* Cody Rhodes, who won the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble and tied Bron Breakker for most eliminations (4), was in the match for 43:21. This gives him the fourth-most cumulative time spent in Rumble matches with 4:05:14, behind Chris Jericho (4:59.33), Randy Orton (4:34:08) and Rey Mysterio (4:14:45). CM Punk, who went 21:45, is now 10th all-time at 3:09:56.

* JD McDonagh had the shortest time at three seconds. He set the fifth shortest time spent in a Rumble, behind Santino Marella, Warlord, Sheamus, and No Way Jose.

* Brock Lesnar, who was originally booked for the match, would have ended up with 36 career eliminations. That would have tied him for fourth all-time, but it never happened. Lesnar currently has 32 eliminations and is tied for sixth.

* Kofi Kingston has the second-most Rumble appearances with 16, behind Kane’s 20. That includes Fake Diesel and Isaac Yankem, otherwise, he’d have 18.

* Bayley, who won the women’s 2024 women’s Royal Rumble, had the second-most eliminations, and also lasted the longest at 1:03:03. She narrowly surpassed Naomi’s time, who had 1:02:18. Both women beat Rhea Ripley’s record from the year before (1:01:08). Bianca Belair had 47:46, earning her 10th place.

* Valhalla and Chelsea Green’s 2023 entry are tied for the shortest time in a women’s Royal Rumble match at 5 seconds.

* On the cumulative all-time list, Bianca Belair has spent the longest time in a Rumble match with 3:05:28, followed by Natalya (2:38:40) and Naomi (2:27:33). Bayley (2:18:51) is now fifth, Liv Morgan (1:57:34) seventh, Shayna Baszler (1:13:39) eighth and Zelina Vega (1:09:58) ninth.

* Nia Jax had the most eliminations this year (8), tying the record set by Shayna Baszler and Bianca Belair in 2020. Jax is in second place for most career eliminations, behind Ripley’s 20. Bayley is third on that list with 17 eliminations, followed by Baszler (15), Charlotte Flair (15) and Belair (14).

* Liv Morgan and Natalya are tied for most Rumble appearances with seven, followed by Naomi (6), Dana Brooke (6), Tamina (6), Bayley (5), Nia Jax (5), Shayna Baszler (5), Carmella (5), Sonya Deville (5) and Nikki Cross (5).

Brock Lesnar, who was originally scheduled to participate in the Royal Rumble match, missed out on an opportunity to add to his impressive record. If Lesnar had competed, he would have ended up with 36 career eliminations, tying him for fourth place on the all-time list. Currently, Lesnar holds 32 eliminations and is tied for sixth place.

Kofi Kingston continues to make his mark in Royal Rumble history, as he now holds the second-most appearances in the event with 16. Kane remains at the top of this list with 20 appearances, although it’s worth noting that Kingston’s total includes his appearances as Fake Diesel and Isaac Yankem.

Moving on to the women’s Royal Rumble, Bayley emerged as the victor in the 2024 edition. Not only did she secure the victory, but she also had the second-most eliminations and lasted the longest with an impressive time of 1 hour, 3 minutes, and 3 seconds. Bayley narrowly surpassed Naomi’s time of 1 hour, 2 minutes, and 18 seconds, as well as Rhea Ripley’s record from the previous year (1 hour, 1 minute, and 8 seconds). Bianca Belair also had a commendable performance, lasting 47 minutes and 46 seconds, earning her a spot in tenth place.

In terms of the shortest time spent in a women’s Royal Rumble match, Valhalla and Chelsea Green’s entries in the 2023 edition are tied at 5 seconds.

Looking at the cumulative all-time list, Bianca Belair holds the record for spending the longest time in a Rumble match, totaling an impressive 3 hours, 5 minutes, and 28 seconds. Natalya follows closely behind with a cumulative time of 2 hours, 38 minutes, and 40 seconds, while Naomi holds the third position with 2 hours, 27 minutes, and 33 seconds. Bayley now ranks fifth on this list with a cumulative time of 2 hours, 18 minutes, and 51 seconds.

Nia Jax stood out this year by achieving the most eliminations with a total of eight. This achievement ties the record set by Shayna Baszler and Bianca Belair in 2020. In terms of career eliminations, Nia Jax currently holds the second position with 20 eliminations, trailing behind Rhea Ripley’s record of 20. Bayley follows closely with 17 eliminations, while Shayna Baszler, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair have 15, 15, and 14 eliminations, respectively.

Liv Morgan and Natalya share the record for the most Rumble appearances among women, with both superstars having participated in seven editions of the event. Naomi, Dana Brooke, and Tamina follow closely behind with six appearances each. Bayley, Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Carmella, Sonya Deville, and Nikki Cross have all made five appearances in the Rumble.
