Andrade and Naomi returned to WWE at the 2024 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event this past Saturday, entering the men’s and women’s Rumble matches at #4 and #2 respectively.
Fightful Select is reporting that both Andrade and Naomi have signed full-time contracts with WWE.
Andrade became a free agent following AEW Worlds End 2023, and almost everybody in Tony Khan’s promotion knew he was returning to WWE.
However, many in WWE and AEW expected him to return faster than he did, particularly on the ‘Day 1’ themed episode of Monday Night RAW.
Andrade’s fiancée, Charlotte Flair, pushed for his WWE return and was at the Royal Rumble to support him.
Andrade is expected to appear on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW and be on the red brand going forward.
While Charlotte is on SmackDown, she is currently sidelined with an injury. Hence, there is no rush to put the real-life couple on the same brand.
Meanwhile, Naomi is expected to join the SmackDown roster.
Naomi has been on WWE’s radar for over a year, before the company’s unofficial hiring freeze which caused her to sign with TNA.
