Ongoing Partnership between Shane Taylor Promotions and BCC, Highlighting Riddick Moss’ Memorable ‘Madcap’ Moment

Shane Taylor Promotions isn’t finished with the Blackpool Combat Club following their tag match on Saturday’s episode of AEW Collison.

Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty lost to Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli on Saturday’s show.

Following the match, AEW posted a video of Taylor and Moriarty saying that they still have unfinished business with the Blackpool Combat Club.

Taylor said, “We make a career of fighting the biggest, the baddest, and the best competition out there. When you do that, when you don’t duck anybody, when you don’t run from anybody, sometimes, you learn those hard lessons. You face those consequences. But make no mistake about it. Moxley, Claudio, we are far from done. As far as I’m concerned, when people think about the baddest dudes in this company, they will not think about the BCC. They will think about STP.”

Moriarty said, “Fall down seven, get up eight. No matter what you try to do to us, we get back up on our feet, stand ten toes down, and we’re defiant every single time. Because we are here to prove that we are two of the best, regardless of who’s across from us in that ring. So you all need to understand it’s time to watch your step and protect your neck.”

Taylor later tweeted,

“This fight, this WAR is against more than the #BCC this war is against the entire industry & where our place in it should be.

@ClaudioCSRO @JonMoxley @bryandanielson @WheelerYuta

You’ll be seeing us sooner than you think homeboy… #STP #TAIGASTYLE #AEW #RumbleBadManRumble All Elite Wrestling @AEW”

During a recent virtual signing with “Captain’s Corner,” former WWE Superstar Riddick Moss revealed his favorite moment of his ‘Madcap Moss’ run in WWE, where he dressed up as Drew McIntyre on TV.

Moss said, “Maybe my favorite thing I ever did as Madcap was when [Baron] Corbin and I injured Drew McIntyre and put him on the shelf for a month or so. The next week I came out dressed as Drew. So I had been wearing the button-down shirt and the suspenders, but then for this one I had to wear the kilt and I went shirtless to pretend to be Drew and make fun of Drew, and I got to do the Scottish accent on TV, which is like my favorite thing I’ve ever done.”

Moss was released from his WWE contract in September 2023.

Shane Taylor Promotions is not done with the Blackpool Combat Club after their recent tag match on AEW Collision. Despite losing to Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli, Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty have expressed that they still have unfinished business with their opponents.

Taylor stated that they always seek out the biggest and best competition, and although they may face consequences and learn hard lessons, they are far from finished. He emphasized that when people think of the toughest guys in the company, they will think of STP (Shane Taylor Promotions).

Moriarty echoed Taylor’s sentiments, saying that no matter what is thrown at them, they always get back up and remain defiant. They are determined to prove that they are two of the best wrestlers, regardless of who they face in the ring. Moriarty warned their opponents to watch their step and protect their necks.

Taylor took to Twitter to further express his determination, stating that their fight is not just against the Blackpool Combat Club but against the entire industry. He mentioned several other wrestlers and hinted that they will be making their presence known soon.
