The Urgent Need for WWE to Sever Connections with Alleged Sexual Predator Vince McMahon, According to Lance Storm

As we previously reported here on eWn, Vince McMahon is being sued by Janel Grant, one of the women who received a payout during the 2022 ‘hush money’ scandal.

Grant filed a lawsuit against McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE alleging that the former WWE Chairman subjected her to sexual assault, physical and emotional abuse, sex trafficking, and more.

McMahon has denied the allegations, with a spokesperson noting that the lawsuit “is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and a vindictive distortion of the truth.”

Former WWE Superstar Lance Storm believes WWE needs to cut ties with Vince McMahon once and for all following the recent allegations.

On a recent edition of “Wrestling Observer Radio,” Storm addressed the allegations against McMahon, and you can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On WWE needing to cut ties with McMahon: “I was one of the few that said he needed to be gone when the story first broke, and I was outspoken against him being allowed back into the office, being allowed back at shows when he when he came back. When he came back, I stopped watching the product and only started seeing some of the shows out of necessity.”

On the details in the lawsuit: “That’s classic sexual predator stuff. Find someone down on their luck and start grooming them and bending them to your will. Not only should he be booted off the board, take his keys to the office away, bar him from going to shows, and I think there needs to be a legitimate cleaning house of anyone who covered anything up who knew about this.”

Storm further stated that criminal charges should be brought to the people involved if the allegations turn out to be true.

Vince McMahon, the former chairman of WWE, is facing serious allegations of sexual assault, physical and emotional abuse, and sex trafficking. Janel Grant, one of the women who received a payout during the 2022 ‘hush money’ scandal, has filed a lawsuit against McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE.

The lawsuit claims that McMahon subjected Grant to various forms of abuse and exploitation. However, McMahon has vehemently denied these allegations, with a spokesperson stating that the lawsuit is filled with lies and a vindictive distortion of the truth.

Former WWE Superstar Lance Storm has weighed in on the matter, expressing his belief that WWE should sever ties with McMahon following these serious allegations. Storm has been vocal about his stance since the scandal first broke and has criticized McMahon’s reinstatement into the company.

In a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Storm discussed the allegations against McMahon. He emphasized the need for WWE to cut ties with McMahon, stating that he stopped watching the product when McMahon returned to the office. Storm also called for a thorough investigation and a cleaning house of anyone who may have covered up or been aware of these alleged abuses.

Storm highlighted the grooming tactics employed by sexual predators and expressed his concern over the details mentioned in the lawsuit. He emphasized that if the allegations are proven true, criminal charges should be brought against all those involved.

The allegations against McMahon are serious and demand a thorough investigation to determine the truth. It is crucial for companies to take such allegations seriously and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to protect victims and hold perpetrators accountable.

As this legal battle unfolds, it remains to be seen how WWE will respond to these allegations and whether they will take any action against McMahon. The outcome of this case will have significant implications not only for McMahon but also for the reputation and future of WWE as a whole.
