The WWE SmackDown commentary team will soon see a change.
According to a report from Aaron Varble, Kevin Patrick will be removed from the SmackDown commentary team in the very near future. The reason given for his removal is, “It just wasn’t working out.”

Kevin Patrick signed with WWE in 2021, after working with CNN and Apple TV. Patrick worked on the RAW commentary team in 2022. He was eventually moved back to SmackDown last year. He worked alongside Michael Cole and Corey Graves, before Cole went exclusively to the RAW brand.
As of this writing, there is no word on who Patrick’s replacement will be.
