4H is an organization that focuses on various activities such as agriculture, sewing, and public speaking. Braxton noticed that all the other kids had notecards for their speeches, but she decided to challenge herself by memorizing her speech instead. To her surprise, she won the competition.

What made this achievement even more special for Braxton was that she didn’t inform her foster parents about her participation because she didn’t want to disappoint them if she didn’t win.
