Zoey Stark is a big fan of WWE NXT moving to the The CW Network and believes it’ll help the brand grow.
During a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, Stark commented on the future of the WWE NXT brand, who has impressed her the most so far, and more.
You can check out some highlights from the interview below:
On WWE NXT’s move to The CW: “I’m excited for everyone there on NXT to get this opportunity. It almost feels like NXT is turning into a third brand a little bit. So I’m really excited for them to get this opportunity and really make the most out of it.”
On which NXT stars are impressing her with their growth: “Lash Legend, I’m really happy to see that she’s going to Deadline to do the Iron Survivor Challenge Match. Super happy for her, and Fallon, those two girls, they work very, very, hard so I’m super happy to see what they’re doing on TV right now.”
In other news, Paul Wight sees a lot of a couple of WWE icons in Powerhouse Hobbs, namely Goldberg and Brock Lesnar.
Wight spoke with TMZ recently and during the conversation, he was asked if he sees a lot of himself in Hobbs. While he said he didn’t, he did see a lot of the same intensity in Hobbs that he sees in Goldberg and Lesnar. He said,
“This probably sounds super arrogant. I don’t think there’s been many people like me. But I think I see the same fire and intensity and ability to connect with the audience. Hobbs is a very powerful, explosive, intense individual. There’s been many guys like that that I’ve seen in our business, from Goldberg, who had that intensity, to Brock Lesnar, who had that intensity.”
He continued, “Then you have a guy like Hobbs, who has a lot of the same characteristics of someone who won’t go around you, he’ll go through you. So for me, being in the business as long as I have, I can understand that and appreciate that and you want to develop that and make that grow.”
