Rob Van Dam’s respective runs in WWE, ECW, and TNA/Impact Wrestling all had a different effect on the former WWE Champion, RVD has revealed.
After competing for the original ECW until the promotion’s end, Van Dam joined WWE in 2001, before later debuting for TNA Wrestling in March of 2010.
During his “1 of a Kind” podcast, the former WWE, ECW, and TNA World Champion discussed what he got out of his different runs. He said,
“From my perspective, I always say ECW was the most fun for me. WWE made me the biggest star and the most money. And TNA was the easiest job that I had. In other words, [it was] the least amount of work for that money, especially when I first went there when we were doing it once every two weeks at Universal Studios. That was cake,” he added, “especially when you’re getting off the road from WWE, and you would’ve done eight to ten matches on average in those same two weeks.”
More recently, Van Dam has been appearing for AEW and teamed with Hook to defeat the Dark Order on last night’s AEW Dynamite.
