Jon Moxley had been sidelined due to a concussion following AEW Grand Slam and he made his much-anticipated return to AEW programming on Saturday’s episode of Collision.
The Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta challenged Ricky Starks and Big Bill for the AEW World Tag Team Championships in the main event of Collision.
The BCC almost dethroned Starks and Bill, however, a timely interference from House of Black spoiled the sweet victory for Castagnoli and Yuta. The interference allowed Starks to pin Yuta and retain the titles.
The beatdown continued after the match and Bryan Danielson came out to save the BCC, however, that didn’t go well. FTR came out and they were outnumbered as well.
Finally, Moxley returned to help the BCC as the show went off the air.
Later, Orange Cassidy came out for his AEW International Title defense and had an altercation with Moxley during Battle of the Belts VIII.
