Impact Wrestling almost brought back Monty Brown in 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic thwarted those plans.
Speaking during a virtual signing for “Golden Ring Collectibles,” Impact’s Moose spoke about Brown and revealed that a match had been in the works. He said,
“That’s a match I always wanted but… So there were talks. I forgot what show. Before COVID happened, we were supposed to be doing a WrestleMania show like how every company does a show during WrestleMania weekend. It was in Tampa and the talks was it was supposed to be me versus Monty Brown. But, COVID happened and shut the whole thing down so…”
Outside of Impact Wrestling, Brown competed for WWE from 2006 to 2007 as Marcus Cor Von as part of the revamped ECW brand.
