On how Sting should have been used in TNA: “Sting was one of those guys that if you had him in the match, you wanted to have him in a singles match. You wanted to make sure it was more important. He was such an icon and a legend that I would have used him sparingly. I would have used him just for world title matches, one-on-ones, and maybe a big tag match. But yeah, him putting them in there kind of prostituted him a little bit. You need to protect Sting. That’s what I believe.”

On working with Hernandez in TNA, why he didn’t mind the stiffness: “Really stiff, but so was I. I’m not going to lie to you. But what an incredible athlete. He was explosive. He was about six foot one, maybe 260. And pound for pound, I put him up there close to Brock Lesnar. That’s how strong he was. I was scared to death that he was going to throw me on my head.”

On if he had any problems with Hernandez: “Oh, no, I didn’t. Like I said, he was a little stiff, but so was I. And I didn’t mind getting, you know, giving it back. And I had a good match with him once. It was really good.”

In a recent episode of ‘The Kurt Angle Show’, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle discussed various topics, including his thoughts on how Sting was used in TNA Wrestling and his experience working with Hernandez. Angle expressed his belief that TNA “prostituted” Sting by using him in matches that were not as important as they should have been. He felt that Sting, being an icon and legend in the industry, should have been used sparingly, specifically in world title matches, one-on-ones, and big tag matches. Angle emphasized the need to protect Sting’s legacy.

When it came to working with Hernandez, Angle praised his athleticism and strength. He described Hernandez as an explosive athlete who was about six foot one and 260 pounds. Angle even compared his strength to that of Brock Lesnar, stating that pound for pound, Hernandez was just as strong. Despite the stiffness in their matches, Angle admitted that he didn’t mind it because he was equally stiff and enjoyed giving it back. He recalled having a great match with Hernandez and appreciated his abilities in the ring.

Overall, Angle had no problems with Hernandez and respected his skills as a wrestler. He acknowledged the stiffness in their matches but saw it as part of the job and didn’t hold any grudges. Angle’s comments shed light on his perspective on the utilization of wrestling talents like Sting and his experiences working with fellow wrestlers in TNA Wrestling.
