On today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that McMahon has “backed off” on the creative process and Triple H is the man in charge now. He said,

“That’s how it was described to me, for now he’s backed off. He still has the power – if he wants to change something, he will. But right now he’s pretty much backed off on that. So what you’re seeing right now is pretty much, what I was told, 99% or whatever, 95%, Paul Levesque. I mean, (Vince is) still around, and there’s probably gonna be input when it comes to main event programs and things like that going forward, but right now, it is mostly the Paul Levesque show now as far as what’s going on on TV and everything.”

McMahon was named as the Executive Chairman of the Board of TKO following the WWE-UFC merger last month.

In a major development in the world of professional wrestling, Paul “Triple H” Levesque has taken over a significant creative role in WWE, while Vince McMahon, the Executive Chairman of TKO Group Holdings, is no longer involved in the creative side of the company. This shift in power has been described as Triple H driving 99.9% of WWE’s creative direction.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, McMahon has “backed off” from the creative process, allowing Triple H to take charge. While McMahon still holds the power to make changes if he desires, he has largely stepped back and handed over the reins to Triple H. This means that what viewers see on TV and other WWE platforms is mostly influenced by Triple H’s vision.

It is important to note that McMahon’s role in the company has not diminished entirely. He remains the Executive Chairman of the Board of TKO following the WWE-UFC merger that took place last month. However, his focus has shifted away from creative decisions, allowing Triple H to take on a more prominent role in shaping WWE’s programming.

This development marks a significant change in WWE’s creative landscape. Triple H, who has been with the company for decades and has a deep understanding of the wrestling industry, now has the opportunity to showcase his creative talents and bring fresh ideas to WWE’s product. While McMahon’s input may still be present in main event programs and other key areas, it is clear that Triple H is now leading the charge when it comes to WWE’s creative direction.

Fans and industry insiders will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on how this transition unfolds and how it impacts WWE’s programming. Triple H has long been regarded as a savvy and innovative mind in the wrestling business, and this new responsibility could provide him with the platform to further showcase his talents.
