Former WWE Superstar Velveteen Dream has not been spotted around the Performance Center in Orlando, despite reports to the contrary.
Twitter account BWE stated that Dream, real name Patrick Clark, had visited the PC this week despite not being signed, and had been going through therapy and progressing well.
When Fightful Select investigated these claims, they could not confirm any details outside of the fact that he is not signed.
A higher-up in WWE told Fightful that they have no interest in re-signing Clark/Dream at this time and something shocking would have to take place for it to happen.
One NXT talent said the following,
“I haven’t seen him around and haven’t heard anything from anybody about him being around. I’m sure it’s possible but not from what I’ve seen or heard.”
A WWE talent on the main roster added that they doubt Dream would be re-signed, saying,
“I don’t think he would get a job back after everything that’s happened. I honestly don’t think it’s true but I’m not there anymore so I don’t know. But I never heard of someone not in the company chillin’ at the Performance Center unless they were in talks to sign or is signing officially.”
Another talent said they were at the Performance Center on Monday and not only didn’t see him but didn’t hear of him being there either.
Another NXT talent echoed similar sentiments about Clark. They said,
“I have not seen him nor heard that name in some time. That would surprise me honestly.”
Fightful spoke to a dozen sources who frequent the WWE Performance Center and did not find anyone who had seen Clark at the center.
WWE in an official capacity said they did not have information on the situation.
