“I just think, unfortunately, I don’t think Tony can help himself. He’s like … it’s almost like you’re a sneakerhead, and the new sneaker comes out and you just have to have it. Obviously he’s kind of a rebel … and he lasted this long because he had talent and he was over. But I guess that s**t that happened in the airport was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Riddle signed with WWE in July 2018 and was accused of sexually assaulting female independent wrestler Candy Cartwright two years later. The lawsuit was later dropped.

After being released by WWE last month, there has been speculation about where Matt Riddle, the former professional wrestler, will end up next. According to AAA booker Konnan, he believes that All Elite Wrestling (AEW) will eventually sign Riddle.

Riddle’s time in WWE was marred by a series of personal incidents, with the latest one at an airport believed to be the final straw. Konnan shared his thoughts on the situation, stating, “I just think, unfortunately, I don’t think Tony can help himself. He’s like… it’s almost like you’re a sneakerhead, and the new sneaker comes out and you just have to have it. Obviously, he’s kind of a rebel… and he lasted this long because he had talent and he was over. But I guess that s**t that happened in the airport was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Riddle signed with WWE in July 2018 and faced controversy when he was accused of sexually assaulting female independent wrestler Candy Cartwright two years later. However, the lawsuit was later dropped.

With Riddle’s release from WWE, fans and industry insiders have been speculating about his next move. AEW has been known for signing former WWE talent and providing them with a platform to showcase their skills. It wouldn’t be surprising if Riddle found his way to AEW in the near future.

AEW has been gaining popularity in the world of professional wrestling since its inception in 2019. The promotion has attracted top talent from various promotions and has been praised for its innovative storytelling and exciting matches. Signing someone like Riddle would be another feather in AEW’s cap and could potentially lead to fresh and exciting matchups for fans.

While nothing is confirmed at this point, it will be interesting to see where Riddle ends up next. Whether it’s AEW or another promotion, there is no doubt that he will continue to make waves in the world of professional wrestling.
