Tegan Nox has returned to WWE RAW.
As we previously reported here on eWn, Nox was originally booked to challenge Becky Lynch on last week’s show for the NXT Women’s Championship. This wound up being changed at the last minute, with Lynch facing off against Natalya instead.
On this week’s episode of RAW, Nox appeared in a backstage segment with Becky Lynch where the latter said she was disappointed Nox didn’t accept her challenge last week. The storyline here was that a “veteran” in Natalya stepped up and she didn’t want to ruffle any feathers. Lynch then told Nox that she would need to “step on some heads” if she wanted to make it to the top. The segment ended with Becky telling Tegan that she wanted to face her next after she gets through with Tiffany Stratton.
Later in the show, Nox asked Adam Pearce if she could face the winner of the Lynch vs. Tiffany Stratton match at WWE NXT: No Mercy. This led to Natalya walking in to demand a match, with the winner going on to face Becky Lynch. Nox wound up winning that match.
