The latest edition of WWE SmackDown was down significantly from the week before as the September 22nd show had 2.115 million viewers, down from last week’s preliminary (2.445 million) and final (2.569 million), respectively.

It is to be noted that last week’s episode featured the surprise appearance of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, unlike this week. And even without any such surprises, SmackDown still managed to draw above two million viewers on the overnights.

In the key 18-49 demo, WWE SmackDown had an 0.58 (758,000 viewers), down from last week’s preliminary of 834,000 viewers in the 18-49 demo. The final rating last week was 0.70.

WWE has announced an Undertaker “1deadMAN SHOW” for Australia in February 2024. The event takes place in Perth, the site of next year’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event.
