AEW WrestleDream Announces Four New Matches for October Event
On the latest episode of AEW Collision, four new matches were announced for the upcoming AEW WrestleDream event. Set to take place on October 1st at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA, WrestleDream promises to be an action-packed night for wrestling fans. Let’s take a closer look at the updated card for the event.
The first match announced is a 2 out of 3 Falls match for the TNT Championship. Current champion Christian Cage will defend his title against Darby Allin. This match is sure to be a thrilling encounter between two talented wrestlers vying for championship gold.
Next up is the AEW World Tag Team Championship match, where FTR will put their titles on the line against Aussie Open. FTR has been dominant as tag team champions, but Aussie Open will be looking to dethrone them and claim the gold for themselves.
In a unique crossover match, Eddie Kingston, the ROH World Champion, will face off against Katsuyori Shibata, the NJPW Strong Openweight Champion. This match will not only determine who is the better champion but also showcase the talent from both Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The fourth new match announced is for the ROH World Tag Team Championship. MJF and Adam Cole, the current champions, will defend their titles against The Righteous. The Righteous will be looking to make a statement by defeating the formidable champions and capturing the tag team gold.
