WWE SmackDown Could End Up On Different Night With New Media Rights Deal

With WWE in talks for its next TV rights deal, SmackDown does not have to remain on Friday nights, a change in nights when they signed a deal with FOX. 

SmackDown’s home is unknown, while the USA network is expected to retain RAW and NXT, with a slight price hike.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that “WWE isn’t married to Fridays” to air SmackDown for SmackDown and could change nights depending on which night their partner wants to air it.
