Backstage News On When Nia Jax Re-Signed With WWE, Updated Lineup For Next Week’s RAW

Nia Jax made her return to programming during this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

Jax returned during the main event, attacking Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley.

Fightful Select is reporting that Jax signed with WWE over a month ago after the company’s hiring freeze concluded in the summer.

Jax is WWE’s first main roster signing since Vince McMahon’s return to the company earlier in January.

Endeavor’s acquisition of WWE is unrelated to Nia’s return, and several people in the company expected to see her sooner.

Meanwhile, it was announced on Monday Night RAW that Shinsuke Nakamura would face Ricochet next week following their backstage showdown on the latest episode of the show.

The match is the sole bout officially announced for next Monday night.

Drew McIntyre and Jey Uso also agreed to a singles match for RAW next week, but WWE has yet to make that bout official.

WWE RAW takes place next week in Salt Lake City, UT and airs live on USA Network.
