Aubrey Edwards and Will Washington believe that All Out 2023 not only matched AEW’s largest-ever event All In 2023, but it was in fact cooler than the event held at Wembley Stadium.
AEW All Out 2023 took place one week after AEW All In 2023, with the events taking place in Chicago, Illinois, and London, England, respectively.
On a recent edition of the “AEW Unrestricted” podcast, Washington spoke about how All Out 2023 was able to follow up on the success of All In 2023. He said,
“It was one of those things where we gave you so much at All In, but at the same time, we left just enough off the table to make All Out seem worth it. I think going into that show, I even had my feelings of doubt in me. But by the end of it, I went, ‘Honestly, that was my favorite All Out.’”
When Washington said he felt that All Out 2023 was cooler than All In 2023, Edwards agreed with the notion. She said,
“I would one hundred percent agree with that. I think all of us were just so proud of how All Out went. We had a little bit to prove just because there were so many people involved with All Out who weren’t at Wembley. I know they wanted to make this a great show. For me personally, being able to do Bryan’s match… What he and Ricky were able to accomplish in that match, I literally walked out and said, ‘I think that was cooler than Wembley.’”
Following All In 2023, it was announced that a second show will take place next year, while the sixth-annual All Out 2023 will take place a week later on Labor Day weekend.
