KENTA Reacts To CM Punk’s Firing From AEW – ‘Welcome Back My Go 2 Sleep!’

Following the news on Saturday that Tony Khan and AEW have terminated the contract of CM Punk following his physical fight with Jack Perry at AEW All In 2023 in London, England this past Sunday, KENTA took to Twitter to react. He tweeted,

For those unaware, the original plans for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II called for KENTA to face off against CM Punk. KENTA made it well known that he wanted a big payday for the match to happen, but it never took place. It was said that CM Punk wasn’t “thrilled” with the idea of working with KENTA.
