Report – Meeting Between CM Punk & The Elite Last Week Was Cancelled At The Last Minute

As we previously reported here on eWn, AEW President Tony Khan terminated the contract of CM Punk on Saturday.

According to a report from Haus of Wrestling, there was a sit-down meeting involving The Elite (Kenny Omega & Young Bucks), CM Punk, and Tony Khan that was scheduled to take place last week in Atlanta, GA. This would have come before the AEW All In 2023 pay-per-view event in London where CM Punk was involved in a backstage fight with Jack Perry.

According to multiple sources, The Elite’s camp called off the meeting at the last minute. While the goal of the meeting was to have all sides be able to bury the hatchet and move on, The Elite decided to cancel the meeting due to Punk’s ongoing backstage frustrations going into All In 2023.
